Join Dr. Dawna Markova, author of The Smart Parenting Revolution, and the Open Mind and Mary Jane Ryan, in a six-week asset focused SmartWired Tele-training.

This approach is designed to shift your focus away from deficits and pathology towards recognizing, utilizing, and developing what is healthy, does work, and is the unique gift each of us brings to the world. This work is based on the latest findings in neuroscience, as well as thirty years of experience using it with children and adults in many settings around the world.

The tele-training offers you the chance to learn this asset-focused approach in your own home, at a time that is convenient to you, in easily integrated small pieces. At the end of the course, you will know how to help yourself and others:

• explore the most natural pattern of thinking, learning and communicating
• use talents to overcome challenges
• develop specific gifts and assets to make a positive difference in the world

About the Training

The initial one hour sessions cover the SMART content and are scheduled to encourage allow self-directed practice. Subsequent sessions will provide an opportunity to explore questions and deepen practical understanding.

If you miss a session, audiopodium recordings will be available.

The fee is $125. This includes the course, an audio recording and all written materials.

Scholarships may be available on a case-by-case basis.

Smart Thinking Partner certification
If you wish to be certified (required to work as a Smart Thinking Partner or run Smart Parenting workshops and groups), you must attend the tele-course, facilitate one 6- week Smart group, provide names and references of people who have attended, and have a certification interview with SmartWired staff.

Once certified, you can:

• use the term “Smart Thinking Partner,”
• have access to proprietary SMART materials at a discount
• be listed on the SmartWired website,
• receive referrals from people looking to be matched with thinking partners in their geographic area.
